If you are just getting started researching sources of information on your ancestors to develop your family tree - or just to see what they were up to - Ancestry.com has launched a new tool called Story Scout. The link is provided under your DNA tab on your Ancestry.com homepage. If you go to the Story Scout and enter your Grandparents' names the algorithm will search for potential matches in newspaper stories, government documents etc. It brought up lots of information that I already had (after a lot of my own previous research) and also one new piece of Revolutionary War information on my 4th Great Grandfather, Jasper Belding in Connecticut, who eventually became an United Empire Loyalist and lived in Canada. They included a link to a confirmatory militia membership document - and also the cool image below. When I have time I will explore this story further.
Anyway - you can see Story Scout at - https://www.ancestry.com/stories
Have fun!
