Hi Hilary, Thank you so much for your post. I think with the autosomal testing you have done in the project with your family members it may provide useful information for Kate to work from. As the project grows and more "known" genealogies are added to the Patriarch Page, the more information we have to work with. It is a long process as you know but highlights the importance of having accurate genealogies and using all the DNA testing tools available to us. Our hope is with the focus on seeking out testers rather than waiting for them to come to us will expedite our findings and begin to put these pieces together. We ask all of our Irish testers to please promote our project in Ireland as much as possible so that we can find that needle in the haystack. We have no Scottish testers at the moment but definitely a strategy and primary focus for 2020.
